 Maribel Jimenez Mendoza, age 63, was peacefully called home to her Lord and Savior on Monday December 13, 2021.  She was born on August 14, 1958, in Mission, Texas to her parents, Maria Isaura Flores and Celso Jimenez. Mrs. Mendoza loved being a mom to her children and housewife to her loving husband. Mom loved going to church.  She loved reading her Bible every morning and praying for her family and friends.  She enjoyed singing coritos at home with her family.  Her cooking will be dearly missed. She loved cooking for her family on holidays and birthday parties.  She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and daughter who will be greatly missed by her family.

 

 She is preceded in death by her father, Celso Jimenez.  Mrs. Mendoza is survived by her mother and stepfather:  Maria Isaura Jimenez and Jose Hinojosa. Her husband of 40 years, Jose Jaime Mendoza. Three brothers: Adrian Jimenez and wife, Juanita Jimenez, Matias Jimenez, Celso Jimenez, Jr; two sisters: Maria Ester Aleman and husband, Jaime Aleman, Yolanda Irene Castaneda and husband Alfonso Castaneda; two daughters: Maria Margarita Guit and husband, Daniel Guit, Maribel Salazar and husband, Rosario Salazar; one son: Abraham Jaime Mendoza and wife, Andrea Mendoza. Last but not least, Grandma leaves behind five grandchildren: Nayeli Salazar, Mariela Salazar, Mateo Salazar, Daniela Guit and Magaly Guit.

 

  The family will be receiving guest on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 5:00PM until 9:00pm at La Voz Del Salvador Church located at 214 Adams St. Houston, TX. 77011. A celebration of her life will begin at 7:00PM.

 Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday December 21, 2021, at La Voz Del Salvador Church beginning at 10:30 am. After her funeral service, Mrs. Mendoza will be laid to rest atForest Lawn Cemetery located at 8601 Almeda-Genoa Rd. Houston, 77075
