Waylon R. Quigley

It is with great sorrow, we announce the passing of Tech SGGT Waylon R. Quigley on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at the age of 84 in Houston, TX.

We have lost the greatest soul many of us have ever known. We will all miss Waylon for the rest of our lives, but the memories we have we will cherish forever. He will be remembered for his love of his family, understanding and kind soul.

Tech SGGT Quigley served in the Air Force from 1955 to 1978. During that time, he was awarded an accommodation medal for his meritorious services during the Cold War.

His memory will forever be cherished in his family’s heart. He is survived by his loving wife; Janice Quigley, beloved children; Lisa Quigley Veitch, Paul Quigley, Neil Quigley & Jack Quigley, daughters-in-law; Tammy Quigley, Jamie Master & Michelle Quigley, grandchildren; Kevin Quigley, Robin Quigley, Lauren Quigley, Shannon Quigley, Michael McCune, Zachary Quigley & Tammye Gobert, granddaughter-in-law; Jenitza Quigley, Janet Quigley, grandson -in-law; Devon Gobert, great-grandchildren; Alexis, Peter, Karter, Juliana, Christopher, Calysta, Caeden, Koen, Amirah, Aisha, Ibrahim, Nico & Knox, siblings; Repsie Warren, Mary Wheatly, Larry Quigley & Sherrill Quigley and sisters-in-law; Betty Quigley & Bonnie Quigley.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Edward Theodore Quigley & Kitsey Irene Denning and siblings; Horace Quigley, James Quigley, Emily Wright, Houston Barefoot, Pattie Lee, Frances McLamb, Minnie Baily, Lerome Darden & Malcom Quigley.

The Quigley family would like to invite family and friends to join them for their final goodbye on Friday, May 13, 2022, leaving their home, located at 20410 Charlisa Springs Ln in Katy, TX, in precession at 10 am with police escorts for the graveside services and final resting place at the Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr in Houston, TX, at 11:15 am.
