Willie Landers


Willie Landers, Alpha-December 23, 1934 and Omega-October 10, 2021. He was 86 years old. He passed away with his wife and family members by his side.

He was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. Later in life he relocated to Houston, Texas where he met his wife and began a thriving career with Tyco for 45 years.

He is preceded in death by his mother Fannie Smith, his father Willie Landers Sr., and his brother Bobby Ray Young. He is survived by his wife of 36 years Alberta Landers; his brother Earnest Landers; his children Jackie Young, Carl Fernell, Cedric Landers, and Stephanie Baker-Colton; 11 grandkids and 20 great-grandkids; in addition to many relatives and friends.

Friends will be received at Abiding Missionary Baptist Church, 14145 Bridgeport rd Houston, Tx 77047 on Saturday October 23, 2021; from 10:00am-11:00am for the viewing and services will follow immediately after at 11:00am. 

He will be laid to rest at Houston Memorial Gardens, 2425  Cullen blvd. Pearland, TX 77584.
