Joe Anthony Flores, a.k.a. SAPO, was called to rest in heaven during the early hours of Saturday, September 2, 2023, at HCA Houston Southeast hospital. He was 43 years old.
Joe was born on March 19, 1980, in San Antonio TX, raised by his Tio, Eliseo Flores and Tia, Frances Flores, for whom he called his parents.
Joe had always contributed to working in tree service and steadied on iron work for many years throughout his time.
Over the time in his beloved life, Joe has made many of the greatest friends, and treated every single one of them as family, no matter the circumstance. Just know that if you were a dedicated friend, you were already seen as a member of the family in his eyes.
If you knew Joe, you knew he was a man who was always laughing, making silly jokes, danced as often as he could, and loved playing pool. He was a man who cherished every fulfilling moment of life and lived it to the very fullest.
He enjoyed cooking, especially his famous fideo con carne and spicy frijoles. He loved his dedicated family time; he loved eating ice cream and cake especially. He loved his fur baby Buddy, a.k.a Checo Buddy, for which he admired and adored dearly.
Joe is survived by his wife, Geneva Jalomo, and his four children: Priscilla Cano, Joe Anthony Jalomo, Gloria Monique Flores, and Celia Isabell Flores. By his grandchildren: Layla Remii Garcia, Joe Anthony Edwardo Garcia, Evelynn Grace Jalomo, Joe Anthony Jalomo Jr, Elijah Anthony Jalomo, and Xiomara Anita Anaya Bravo. His brothers: Eliseo, Thomas, and Julian Flores; Felix and Raymond Ferdin; Peter Escobar Flores, Paul Avilez Jalomo and Micheal Anthony Jalomo. His sisters: Monica and Crystal Flores. By his many nieces, nephews and other family members.
He now reunites with his mom: Gloria Flores; grandpa: Eliseo Flores Sr.; uncle: Richard Flores and cousin: Raymond Flores, gracefully and at peace behind the gates of heaven.
From his children: We love you dad; you are forever in our hearts.
From his family members: We love you and will always keep a piece of you in our hearts. Thank you, Joe, for a life of joy, gratitude and cherish-able memories.
