It is with deep and heartfelt sadness that we announce the transition of Mrs. Ayo Beatrice Cummings on Friday, March 1, 2024, in Houston, Texas. She is survived by her daughters, Chaneta V. Cummings Lewis, Dr. Julia A. Cummings Weeks, son, Alexander B. Cummings (Teresa); grandchildren, Ayo Oneke, Cecil Benedict, Boikai Alexander (Lebo) and Tehana Fatima; Great grandchildren, Nyah Ann, Iviwe Wonkhemi, Zokaya Alakhe, and Onthatile Bendu; Sister, Mrs. Edna Taylor Lisborg, in Liberia and also several siblings in Senegal and France; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She is pre-deceased by her, husband Reverend Alexander Benedict Cummings, Sr. and daughter, Patricia D. Cummings.
