Born on March 10 th , 1929 in Trujillo, Peru, Rosa lived a life rooted in faith and love. She was the heart of her family, a woman whose presence brought comfort, laughter, wisdom, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Rosa devoted herself to raising children and caring for others, always putting love into the smallest details: cooking delicious meals for her children and family, lending a listening ear and giving words of encouragement and wisdom, knitting countless of baby outfits and blankets for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she was known as “Abuelita Rosa or Nana” and they will always remember her for gentle advice and loving embrace. Some of the family’s favorite memories include her incredibly ability to make you feel seen, heard and understood. She was full of compassion and grace for all those around her. Even in her later years, Rosa kept her keen sense of humor, her wittiness, and her strong work ethic – never letting her hand go idle, reminding us all how to age with dignity and grace. She is survived by her children: Monica Arrieta, Pepe Arrieta, Elisa Orrillo, Carlos Arrieta and Jorge Arrieta; her grandchildren: Carlos Arrieta, Gissell Cravener, Emily Arrieta, Israel Orrillo, Yasbell Arrieta, Coki Arrieta, Joshua Orrillo, Piero Arrieta; and her great-grandchildren: Ethan & Aaron Cravener, Nicolas Vasquez Arrieta, Luciana & Larisa Arrieta, Joseph, Emma, Isabella Orrillo, Fatima Leon, Leo & Charlotte Arrieta.
