I am so very sorry for your loss! I know you all will miss her dearly! I’ll always remember her as Grandma Linda and what a wonderful volunteer she was at Matthys, especially helping me in the workroom! We always enjoyed her joining us for lunch when she’d come to volunteer. And, she was so very proud of those two grandsons! We really missed her when she retired after Sixto left Matthys! She was a sweet, sweet lady!

My heartfelt condolences to Claudine, her beloved grandsons, relatives, extended family members, and friends grieving her loss. I have always called her Linda Lou, and that is the name I choose to remember her by.

Linda Lou was lively and kind. She had a spark to her and was always happy and smiling. We shared so many adventures throughout our years of friendship. More than a friend, she was the older sister I never had.

Though I moved from Houston, we kept in touch, and our conversations were like an entrance into a time tunnel. We would recall details from our past escapades as though they had just occurred. We laughed like two teenagers complicit in crime remembering the good times we shared.

Godspeed my beautiful friend. One day we shall meet again and dance to Bobby Naranjo with our friends from the Island Club.

Linda even took the time to teach me how to cook chicken fired . She taught my daughter how you can never wear enough rings! I’ll never forget the time she wanted to get a tan and used baby oil…. ! So many memories. Linda you will be missed.
