Orvelina Ramirez Posadas Cartagena, una amada hija, esposa, madre, abuela, suegra,
hermana y tía. Orvelina partió en paz el 3 de diciembre de 2024 en Houston, Texas, a la edad
de 58 años, rodeada del amor de su familia.
Nació el 20 de agosto de 1966 en San Jerónimo Copán, Honduras. Orvelina fue la querida hija
de Arnulfo Posadas y Audelina Cartagena. La fuerza, resiliencia y calidez que heredó de sus
padres se reflejaron en todo lo que hizo. La naturaleza amorosa y tierna de Orvelina tocó a
todos los que la rodearon; fue una mujer de gran fortaleza, amorosa y siempre luchó ante los
desafíos de la vida, defendiendo a los que amaba.
Como esposa, fue comprensiva y amorosa con su esposo Maximino Ramirez. Su amor
inquebrantable se reflejó en el hogar que construyeron juntos, una vida basada en un profundo
respeto mutuo que, con el tiempo, creció y se hizo más fuerte. Como madre, Orvelina se dedicó
a amar, cuidar y proteger la felicidad y el bienestar de sus hijos Bayron, Max, Cynthia y Ricardo.
Su amor por ellos no tenía límites, y su legado vivirá siempre en sus hijos y nietos.
Orvelina también fue una abuela orgullosa y amorosa de sus siete nietos. Los adoraba
profundamente y atesoraba cada momento con ellos, brindándoles su amor, su calidez,
sabiduría y fortaleza que cultivó a lo largo de su vida.
Fue una maravillosa hermana, tía y amiga para su familia extendida. Su bondad, generosidad y
su sentido del humor contagiante serán recordados por todos los que la conocieron. Orvelina
tenía una habilidad extraordinaria para hacer que todos se sintieran especiales, queridos, y su
hogar siempre estuvo abierto para aquellos que necesitaban una palabra amable o un oído
atento.
Su vida estuvo marcada por su fe inquebrantable, compasión y un profundo compromiso con
los que amaba. La bondad, gracia y generosidad de Orvelina tocaron innumerables vidas, y se
la recordará por el amor que dio tan libremente a todos los que la rodearon.
Aunque Orvelina ya no está físicamente con nosotros, su memoria vivirá en los corazones de

With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we announce the passing of Mrs. Orvelina Ramirez
Posadas Cartagena, a beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, sister, and
aunt. Orvelina peacefully left this world on December 3, 2024, in Houston, Texas, at the age of
58, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on August 20, 1966, in San Jerónimo Copán, Honduras. Orvelina was the
beloved daughter of Arnulfo Posadas and Audelina Cartagena. The strength, resilience, and
warmth she inherited from her parents were reflected in everything she did. Orvelina’s loving
and tender nature touched everyone around her; she was also a woman of great strength,
loving, and always fought through life’s challenges, standing up for those she loved.
As a wife, she was understanding and loving towards her husband, Maximino Ramirez. Her
unwavering love was reflected in the home they built together, a life founded on deep mutual
respect that grew stronger with time. As a mother, Orvelina dedicated herself to loving, caring
for, and protecting the happiness and well-being of her children Bayron, Max, Cynthia, and
Ricardo. Her love for them knew no bounds, and her legacy will live on forever in her children
and grandchildren.
Orvelina was also a proud and loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren. She deeply
cherished them and treasured every moment spent with them, offering them her love, warmth,
wisdom, and the strength she had cultivated throughout her life.
She was a wonderful sister, aunt, and friend to her extended family. Her kindness, generosity,
and infectious sense of humor will be remembered by all who knew her. Orvelina had an
extraordinary ability to make everyone feel special, loved, and her home was always open to
those who needed a kind word or a listening ear.
Her life was marked by her unshakable faith, compassion, and a deep commitment to those she
loved. Orvelina’s kindness, grace, and generosity touched countless lives, and she will be
remembered for the love she gave so freely to everyone around her.
Although Orvelina is no longer physically with us, her memory will live on in the hearts of her
family, friends, and loved ones who had the privilege of knowing her. We take comfort in
knowing she is at peace, reunited with loved ones who went before her, and that her light will
continue to shine brightly in the lives of those she left behind.
Orvelina is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Maximino Ramirez; her children, Bayron, Max,
Cynthia, Ricardo; her seven grandchildren; and numerous extended family members.
Orvelina’s love and light will remain in our hearts forever. May she rest in eternal peace,
surrounded by the love she so generously shared.
