Lucila Rosa Alvarado Hernandez, age 75, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, in Houston, Texas.
Lucila was a woman full of life, laughter, and love. Known for her vibrant spirit and warm heart, she brought joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She had a wonderful sense of humor, a deep love for her family and friends, and a passion for living life to the fullest. Whether she was sharing stories, traveling to new places, or simply enjoying time with loved ones, Lucila made every moment meaningful.
A devoted mother, Lucila raised her four children— Zulma, Maritza, Kathy, and Julio —with strength, resilience, and unconditional love. She dedicated her life to providing for her family, working in many different fields over the years, always with determination and pride.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Jonas, Alexia, Aliana, Jessica, Zoe, Matthew, Michael, Julius, Julian, Alizia, and Kaleah, and a cherished great-grandmother to many great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandchildren, Kenny and David, whom she held close in her heart always.
Lucila will be remembered for her kindness, her laughter, her strong spirit, and the way she made everyone feel like family. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew her.
Her life was a beautiful reminder to embrace each day, love deeply, and find happiness in every moment.
