  1. Barbara Jean was my cousin on my dad’s side (Glover) . Growing up I loved going over to my grandparents that lived with my uncle and aunt, Fleetwood and Zelle. Barbara was 12 years older than me. She and Philip would go out for new years and I was the baby sitter for the boys, Jay, Joe, Cole. Graduating from HS as a beautician, my favorite client was Barbara. She and aunt Zelle were faithful customers/ family. Then life got busy. Should have stayed in touch more. My heart ♥️ goes out to the entire family. We are never promised tomorrow, but our God is a faithful God, and he will never abandon us. May you rest in peace, Barbara. We will miss you.

  2. Juanita M. Lester

I will truly miss my mother in law. She was like a mother to me and we enjoyed so many good and long talks, I will miss our daily visits to the doctors and going out to eat. I am so happy that her last days of life , we talked and we assured her that everyone would be alright. That was her greatest . She enjoyed a great life and her boys were her biggest accomplishment of her life. She was so proud of Jay, Joe and Cole. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life. I love being a member of the Lester family and my mother in law will never be forgotten. Love you Mom Lester and may you rest in peace. Love Juanita Lester

  3. How sad to hear of Barbara’s passing.
My deepest sympathy to all of the Lester family.
Barbara and I shared a sweet friendship throughout the years because of my relationship with her sister, Wanda, and also her uncle, Cecil, who was married to my sister, Mildred.
    Goodbye my sweet friend…
Rest in peace with our Heavenly Father and all your loved ones who were there to greet you.
