Cristobal “Cris” Soto

In Loving Memory of Cristobal “Cris” Soto
April 28, 1994 – June 4, 2025

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cristobal Soto, lovingly known to most as “Cris,” on June 4, 2025, at the age of 31.

Born on April 28, 1994, Cris grew up in Woodbridge Virginia, proudly carrying the spirit of his home state in everything he did—so much so that close friends affectionately called him “VA.” He was a devoted son, a protective and caring brother, a proud father, and a loyal friend. He grew up surrounded by love, one of four brothers and a cherished sister, forming bonds that remained unbreakable through the years.

Cris was known for his big heart and his unshakable commitment to the people he loved. He had a goofy, infectious sense of humor that could lift anyone’s spirits, and he never hesitated to put others before himself. If you needed a helping hand, Cris was there—he would literally give you the shirt off his back. He was hardworking and dedicated, whether he was pursuing his goals, exercising to stay fit, or pouring his heart into his rap lyrics—his passion for rapping was one of the ways he expressed himself with creativity and soul.

Above all else, Cris loved his family. He was a proud father to two beautiful boys, who were his world. He worked hard not only to provide for them but also to protect and guide them with all the love he had to give. And he loved his mother deeply—there was never a doubt about the special bond they shared.

His presence will be missed every single day, but his love, laughter, and selflessness will live on in all of us who had the honor to know him.
