My Dad was born in southwest Houston, Tx October 12, 1969 .He grew up in the neighborhood of southmain and fondren Carlsbad st . His hobbies included walking anywhere his feet could carry him riding his bike and driving around his neighborhood but working on cars was his favorite, once he started he wouldn’t be able to stop until he was finished, and he was very good at it. He also enjoyed having a good time watching sports, and being around family members his smile was the biggest when he was around his kids and grandchildren, he enjoyed spending his days with his Mother Sophie Mata and conversations with her.
He was a very headstrong man, one of the strongest man I ever knew he overcome so much in his lifetime but yet continued to push through. He was indeed stubborn if he wanted to do something he would and there was absolutely no arguing with him cause what he set his mind to is what he did. He also had the heart the size of the sky it had no limits he loved everyone and would help anyone he could. He loved his family and his city. He was the type of person with a very free spirit always had to be out exploring the world and its scenery he was never inside for too long . I guess you can say he was an outdoor person. He had his demons just as we all do In a way, But he was still a good person a sentimental good hearted person. And all his family will miss him beyond our lifetime.
