Le sobreviven con amor su madre, Angelita Valdez Mireles; sus hermanos y hermanas, Alma, J. Gonzalo, Maria, Lupita, Blanca, Cristobal, Nora y Brenda; además de sus esposos/as, sobrinos y sobrinas, quienes lo extrañarán profundamente pero nunca lo olvidarán.
