It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jose Jaime Ortiz. Our beloved Son, Father, Uncle and friend to many. Jose passed away on March 28th 2024; at the age of 44. He was born on May 5th 1979. He also attended South Houston High School.

Jose Ortiz who proceed him in death by father Bernabe Ortiz, Jose is survived by his two children Jermain Ortiz and Aiyana Soto, and his mother Connie Fuentes, Step Father Mauro Fuentes, by his brother Michael Fuentes and sisters, Daisy Trinidad, and Lillian Chasen. His grandmother Maria Genoveva Fuentes, and uncles Jose Alfredo Fuentes, Jose Fuentes, Romel Fuentes, also Manuel Fuentes, Mario Orlando Fuentes, and his Aunties Maria Rodriguez, Milagro Fuentes, and cousins Nerali Zelaya, Karina Zelaya, Nextali Zelaya, Heyla Fuentes, Alex Fuentes, Manuel Fuentes, Victor Fuentes, Doris Diondo, Carlos Fuentes, Xenia Fuentes, Wilfredo Gonzalez
