Leonel Francisco Giron

Leonel Francisco Giron’s life was a testament to the power of positivity, connection, and love.
Born and raised in Guatemala, Leonel moved to the United States at the age of 22. It was in Los
Angeles that he met the love of his life, Judy. Together, they built a beautiful life in Houston,
where they raised their three children: Francis, Priscilla, and Leonel.
Leonel’s presence was nothing short of extraordinary. He had a unique gift—almost a
superpower—of making every person he met feel seen, heard, and deeply valued. It was not
uncommon for people to spend just ten minutes with Leonel and feel as though they had been
lifelong friends. His heart was free of grudges and his spirit was always filled with happiness and
optimism. Each morning, he messaged his family to say,
“It’s a wonderful morning” a reflection
of his unwavering positivity. He was a lover of music, a nurturer of plants and a joyful dancer.
During a visit to Philadelphia for a birthday of nearly 100 people, he spoke to everybody and so
many have since reached out to speak of the special bond they felt with Leonel after only
moments of conversation, just further showing how he loved to connect with people far and
wide. He had an unmatched ability to be fully present, leaving a lasting impact without
sacrificing precious time with his wife and children. Leonel’s family was always his greatest
priority and he made every moment count with them.
Leonel’s life, though far too brief, was immensely full. He traveled the world alongside Judy,
together they visited more than a dozen countries. He was passionate about taking pictures of
everybody and everything, he always found beauty in everyday life. Above all, his greatest joy
was his family; his wife he adored, his children he could never stop bragging about, and his
beloved grandchildren he endlessly doted on.
His legacy is one of kindness, joy, and unconditional love for others. He inspired thousands with
his ability to make people feel special and brought light into every room he entered. Leonel’s
impact will continue to ripple through the countless lives he touched.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children, Francis (Justin), Priscilla (Anthony), and Leonel
(Ryan); his grandchildren, Gracie, Jayden, Erik, Averley, and Alexander; his siblings, Sandry,
Gus, Luky, Paty, Lui, Gloria, Mario; and his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by
his parents, Gilda and Leonel Giron.
Though we mourn his loss, we celebrate a life lived to its fullest—a life defined by love,
connection, and purpose.

La vida de Leonel Francisco Giron fue un testimonio del poder de la positividad, la conexión y el
amor.
Nacido y criado en Guatemala, Leonel se mudó a los Estados Unidos a la edad de 22 años.
Fue en Los Ángeles cuando conoció al amor de su vida, Judy. Juntos, construyeron una
hermosa vida en Houston, donde criaron a sus tres hijos: Francis, Priscilla y Leonel.
La presencia de Leonel fue nada menos que extraordinaria. Tenía un don único, casi un
superpoder, de hacer que cada persona que conoció se sintiera importante, escuchada y
profundamente valorada. No era raro que la gente pasara solo diez minutos con Leonel y se
sintiera como si hubieran sido amigos de toda la vida. Su corazón estaba libre de rencores y su
espíritu siempre estaba lleno de felicidad y optimismo. Cada mañana, enviaba un mensaje a su
familia para decir: “Es una mañana maravillosa”
, un reflejo de su inquebrantable positividad.
Era un amante de la música, un admirador de las plantas, y un alegre bailarín.
Durante una visita a Filadelfia para un cumpleaños, de casi 100 personas, habló con todos y
desde entonces muchos se han acercado para hablar del vínculo especial que sentían con
Leonel después de solo unos momentos de conversación, mostrando aún más cómo le
encantaba conectarse con personas de todas partes. Tenía una capacidad inigualable para
estar completamente presente, dejando un impacto duradero sin sacrificar un tiempo precioso
con su esposa e hijos. La familia de Leonel siempre fue su mayor prioridad e hizo que cada
momento contara con ellos.
La vida de Leonel, aunque demasiado breve, era inmensamente llena. Viajó por el mundo junto
a Judy, juntos visitaron más de una docena de países. Le apasionaba tomar fotos de todos y de
todo, siempre encontraba la belleza en la vida cotidiana. Sobre todo, su mayor alegría fue su
familia; su esposa a la que adoraba, sus hijos de los que nunca podía dejar de presumir y sus
queridos nietos que adoraban infinitamente.
Su legado es de bondad, alegría y amor incondicional por los demás. Inspiró a miles de
personas con su habilidad para hacer que la gente se sintiera especial y trajo luz a cada
habitación en la que entraba. El impacto de Leonel continuará ondulando a través de las
innumerables vidas que tocó.
Le sobreviven su esposa, Judy; sus hijos, Francis (Justin), Priscilla (Anthony) y Leonel (Ryan);
sus nietos, Gracie, Jayden, Erik, Averley y Alexander; sus hermanos, Sandry, Gus, Luky, Paty y
Lui, Gloria, Mario; y sus sobrinas y sobrinos. Fue precedido en la muerte por sus padres, Gilda
y Leonel Giron.
Aunque lamentamos su pérdida, celebramos una vida vivida al máximo, una vida definida por el
