Mauricio Ramirez Jr.

In Loving Memory of
Mauricio Ramirez Jr.
August 30, 2000 – July 13, 2026

Mauricio Ramirez Jr., 25, was born in Houston, Texas, and made his home in Baytown, Texas.
He went home to be with his Lord and Savior on July 13, 2026. Mauricio loved deeply and lived
fully. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished son, and the brother who could
always make a room feel lighter just by walking into it.
Mauricio worked as an electrician, and he put the same care into that work that he put into
everything else. His faith mattered deeply to him. Apostolic Temple was his church home where
he actively supported the Acts 2:38 message.
Near the end, Mauricio shared a thought about what it would have been like to be alive when
Jesus walked the earth. “Not to be healed…,” he said, “…just to be near Him.” That was
Mauricio’s heart. Even in his final moments, he was thanking God and worshiping Him.
More than anything, Mauricio loved his family. He adored his wife, Selina, and it showed in
everything he did. He was a proud, loving father to his son, Dylan. Anyone who ever received a
gift from him knew how thoughtful he was. He paid attention to the little things and always made
you feel like he’d really been listening. He loved good food, good company, and just being
around the people he loved. That love was constant, and it was never hard to see.
Mauricio is survived by his wife, Selina Ramirez; his son, Dylan Juarez; his parents, Mauricio
Ramirez Sr. and Noemi Ramirez; his sisters, Anita Hernandez and her husband Isaac Hernandez,
and Dariela Hodge and her husband Jake Hodge; and so many family members and friends who
were lucky enough to be loved by him.
Mauricio will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, his generous heart, and how completely
he loved his family. That love isn’t going anywhere. It stays with everyone he touched.
