Rafael Jimenez Jr./Biggie/Bigfed (9/14/1989 – 1/4/2026; 5:08pm)
Rafael Jimenez Jr. of Houston, Tx died on January 4th, 2026 due to a brain hemorrhage at Memorial Hermann Hospital – Texas Medical Center.
He was born in Houston, Tx to Rafael Jimenez Solis Sr. and Mary Theresa Lopez and was a creative soul with a huge heart. Rafael attended Wainwright Elementary Magnet, Mayde Creek Middle School, Mayde Creek High School, and Morton Ranch High School before studying multiple art disciplines at the Art Institute of San Antonio and the Art Institute of Houston. Rafael held many jobs from Toys R Us, H-E-B, to working for the family business as a driver at Matamoros Meat Market, but his true passion and first love was art. As an artist, Rafael had a style that was unmatched. He was able to create a t-shirt business named Monster Rags that transformed his paintings and creative thoughts into wearable art and created an art show that invited multiple art styles from fashion, music, painting, and drawing into one show called Pushing The Limits. He filled hundreds of sketch books with his unique designs and turned them into paintings, stickers, and murals. Participating in multiple art shows throughout the Houston and surrounding areas and pushed himself and all those around him to express their true self through creativity to create something beautiful, something bigger than themselves.
Rafael was preceded in death by his uncle, grandfathers, and grandmother on his dad’s side. He is survived by his parents Rafael Jimenez Solis Sr, Mary Theresa Lopez, Roman Marin, his grandmother Mary Martinez, his siblings Orlando Armenta, Laura Armenta, Edward Jimenez, Bianca Jimenez, Richard Jimenez, Mia Marin, Emmanuel Marin, his girlfriend Hayley O’Neal, and most importantly the gem of his heart and reason for living , his daughter Adelana Wednesday Jimenez.
Rafael was often referred to as a rebel but anyone who knew him truly understood that underneath the hard shell and roast style comedy that he loved with his entire heart. He did everything with passion and while it might not have always seemed so his intentions were always pure of heart even when he couldn’t truly express that. Losing him will leave a hole in so many but the truest way to honor him will be living your life the way he did, using your pain and hardships and turning them into beautiful works of art. As Nina Simone once said “An artist’s duty, as far as I’m concerned, is to reflect the times. I think that is true of painters, sculptors, poets, musicians. As far as I’m concerned, it’s their choice, but I CHOOSE to reflect the times and situations in which I find myself. That, to me, is my duty. And at this crucial time in our lives, when everything is so desperate, when everyday is a matter of survival, I don’t think you can help but be involved.” It’s something he lived by and if he could make any impact on anyone’s life it would be that those he loved the most would continue to live in this way.
Biggie’s final resting place will be at Forest Park Westheimer, 12800 Westheimer Rd, in Houston, Tx. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

Always and forever in our hearts ❤️❤️
