With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Allen Caris of Katy, Texas, who died at age 70 on September 16, 2024. He was a loving father who took great pride in both of his children, he leaves behind, Christina Morton and Marc Caris. The funeral will be a private ceremony, remembering Roger Allen Caris in the presence of close family and friends. To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at

Leal Funeral Home 11123 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079

at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.  Following the service, he will be laid to rest at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. Houston, TX 77038 at 10:45 a.m.

  1. I am saddened by this news😢 Roger has been a good friend to me. I would like his son Marc to get in touch with me. My condolences to Christina as well and anyone else who knew him.

  2. Roger was such a loving and caring Dad and adored his children. I spent many afternoons at The Caris house in the high school years and Roger was always making sure we had plenty of snacks & drinks. He’d run to the store to grab decorations for projects (however off the wall the request was). You could find him in the bleachers smiling proudly and while he wasn’t a loud individual, his heart spoke the loudest. I am blessed to have known Roger and to witness his love for his family.
