Nacio en Los Amadores Amatepec Méx. Hijo de Apolinar Tapia Hernández y Juana Amador Brau (✝️) El viene de 5 hermanos y 3 hermanas.
Llegó a los Estados Unidos en el año de 1980. Conocio a su esposa Yolanda Orozco Hernández. Tuvieron 3 hijos y una hija: Eroel Hernández, Anel Hernandez (Gudino), Salomon Hernandez Jr. y  Jonathan Hernández 
Le gustaba ayudar a su familia y sus amigos con todo el corazón siempre sonriendo y haciendo a reír a toda la gente que el conocía.
Le gustaba disfrutar momentos con sus hijos y nietos  (Jahir y Maximus )nietas (Liliana, Miley, Olga y Olivia) su nuera ( Leonila Hernández)y yerno (David Gudiño).
El será recordado por todo lo que el hizo y por su sonrisa inolvidable , también por todos sus hijos, hija, nietos, nietas sus hermanos, hermanas y todos los sobrinos,sobrinas.
