Arturo Lira Jr

Arturo Lira Jr.  left us to be with the Lord on December 12, 2023 at the age of 71. He was born in Edinburg, Texas to Arturo Lira Sr. & Francisca Torres Sandoval.

He was a devoted husband of 50 years to Maria Ernestina Lira and a loving father to Arturo, Maria, Julio, Arnold, Johnny, Francisca, and Michelle. He also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

It is with great sadness that we celebrate how beautiful it was to know him. His trade was a welder and carpenter. For Arturo nothing was impossible to build, create or learn. At the age of 71 he was a current student at HCC’s Welding Technology Program perfecting his craft. Arturo was a person full of life who displayed strength and courage and served as an example to his children.

The Lira family would like to express their sincere gratitude for prayer, kindness, and support during this loss.
