Cesar Soto


Cesar Soto, age 59, passed away on Tuesday, August 24,
2021 in South Houston, Texas.  He was born on August 29, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois to his parents, Juanita Garza Rodriguez and Juan Zapata Soto.  He was a HUGE Texans Fan, Big Jeep Lover, he loved fishing and surfing.  He was a big sports enthusiast, Cesar loved all sports but loved playing volleyball/golf/basketball/softball.  He used to be a high school basketball referee for PISD in the late 90’s, early 2000’s.

 

 He is preceded in death by his father: Juan Z. Soto and his nephew: Eric Soto.  He is survived by his mother: Juanita G. Rodriguez, Daughter: Elizabeth S. Perez, his two grandchildren:Ethan J. Perez and Eli J. Perez, six Siblings : Juan A. Soto, Mario A. Soto, Rosa Soto, Jose L. & wife Ester Soto, Martina Alaniz, Enrique G. & wife Krystal Rodriguez. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.  His pallbearers will be Juan A. Soto, Mario A. Soto, Jose L. Soto, Enrique G. Rodriguez, Alex Lerma, Sammy San Miguel.

 

 A Public visitation will be held on Monday, September 6, 2021, from 4pm until 8pm at J. Leal Funeral Home located at 708 College Ave. in South Houston, Texas 77587.  A Rosary will be prayed at 7:00pm.

 

 The family will receive guest on Tuesday, September 7, 2021from 10:00am until departure time at 12:00 noon.  There will be a funeral procession over to Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive in Houston, Texas 77038.  There is a 1:30 pm gate time.
