Dominica Guity

Born on July 6, 1939, in Punta Gorda, Roatán, Honduras, Dominica passed away peacefully on March 29, 2025, just after Sabbath ended—her favorite day. A devoted mother, grandmother, and woman of unshakable faith, she leaves behind a legacy of love, prayer, and service. She was the heart of her family, blessing them with her prayers, wisdom, and unforgettable cooking. Her memory lives on through her children, grandchildren, and the many lives she touched.

A memorial service will be held at Houston Central Seventh-day Adventist Church, 9425 West Sam Houston Pkwy N, Houston, TX 77064, on April 13, 2025. Dominica’s final resting place will be in her beloved hometown of Punta Gorda, Roatán, Honduras, on April 25, 2025.

Rest well, Ma—until we meet again.

I am missing you so much auntie. I praise God for the 85th years He gave you. I will do my best to follow the same God you served and be able to meet again in that beautiful place called Heaven.
