Fernando “Fer” Francisco Osorio Capella

Fernando “Fer” Francisco Osorio Capella passed away in his sleep on October 29th after a 1 year battle with an Illness. His loving wife, Flor, and son Carlos, were by his side. Fer lived life to the full and on his own terms – a free spirit and loving soul, often times the life of the party, a talented guitar player and a devoted father. He enjoyed poetry and often delighted others reciting prose, loved to hunt but most importantly loved his family dearly. A man of many talents and careers, a business man, a retired aircraft mechanic but his favorite was being a boat captain and showcasing his beautiful Barranquilla from the boat he loved and the river he proudly navigated.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years,Flor Medina, their 4 children and 10 grandchildren that he loved dearly. His family will miss his steady voice and willingness to listen and give an advice, his great sense of humor, for loving his family with the passion few show and for enjoying life to the fullest.
His final months, spent under the devoted care of Flor, were marked by the same grace, humor, and kindness that defined his 73 remarkable years.
Funeral will be held at 8 a.m- 10a.m Saturday, November 2nd at Leal Funeral Home, 11123 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079
Burial will follow at the woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, TX.

Dios bendiga tu alma papi ahora yo
Se que tengo un angelito protector alla en el cielo por siempre padre de mi alma.
