Henry Arthur Edwards “Pete” Jr. was born on December 24, 1972 in Waterloo, New York.
He was 53 years of age when he passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at 2:46am. at Houston Methodist Hospital Downtown Houston.
On June 10, 2025 he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma double hit. We were told this is curable but this is a very aggressive form of cancer.
Pete resided in Waller city and County for the past 7 years.
Henry “Pete” was the Facility Manager for Wilcrest Walk Townhomes since 2003.
He is preceded in death by his step-dad Roy Holmes ( papa )
Roy had raised Pete in church where he played guitar and later learned the Keyboard playing by ear.
Pete is a very talented musician he could pick up any instrument and learn it that very moment.
Pete is survived by his mom Barbara Holmes of Waller, Texas , his wife Michele Edwards of 36 years , 3 daughters, Wanita Michele Edwards of Victorville, Ca,
Rose Anette Edwards of Waller, Texas and Kristine Diane (James) Conklin of New Caney, Texas
and Christopher Edwards of Waller, Texas ( oldest grandson he and Michele are raising for 17 years )
3 sisters, Nicole Walker of Missouri, Rhonda Mahoney of Killeen, Texas and Kay Edwards of Conroe, Texas.
12 Grandchildren, 5 nieces, and 2 nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Family Church on Saturday July 11, 2026 at 12 noon.
