Jacqueline Riegle Guevara

Jacqueline (Jackie) Riegle Guevara, age 66 of Houston, Texas passed away Monday, October 27 after a short illness.

Management was her chosen profession and she managed a childcare center, several restaurants and most recently PetsHotel for Petsmart 0198 West Loop South during her career.

The only thing Jackie loved more than her family was her grumble of 5 pugs, all foster-fails. Lupita, Pixie, Cleo, Zeke and Decker (and many more before this group) were loved and spoiled beyond measure. In addition to dogs, Jackie enjoyed traveling and reading true crime mystery novels.

  1. I am deeply saddened by Mrs. Guevara’s passing.
I had the privilege of knowing her for many years, and in that time, I witnessed her boundless kindness and compassion. Her love and care for dogs and cats were truly unconditional – she treated every animal as if it were her own. To my dear Choco, she was like a second mother, offering warmth, affection, and gentle care.

Mrs. Guevara will be greatly missed, not only by those whose lives she touched but also by the many animals who were blessed by her generosity and love. Her spirit of compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

  2. Miss Jackie, you are so loved by all of us at the Hotel. Meeting you and being given the opportunity to work with you and know and laugh with you has been such a blessing. I have often felt ostracized in my everyday life- you never made me feel unappreciated or unwanted. Thank you; I have been so blessed to know you in the all too brief time that I had. All my love to Mr. Jose and your family, may God bless you all and bring you peace. 🩷
