Jennifer DeAnn Daniels was born on October 6, 1971, in Houston, Texas. She passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

“Her love will live on in every heart she touched.”

With profound sadness and immeasurable love, we remember Jennifer Daniels, a beautiful soul who left an unforgettable mark on the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Jennifer was a devoted wife to Lyndon Daniels and a loving mother to Hunter and Lyndsie Daniels. Jennifer DeAnn McGee was the daughter of Wyman T. McGee I and Cindy Read McGee.

She is survived by her aunt, Ginger Gregory; her uncle, Jay Read, and his wife, Candy; her brothers, Wyman “Tommy” McGee II and his wife, Beverly; Rodney W. McGee and his wife, Steffany; and Timothy McGee and his wife, Erin; and her sister, Amy Newton and her husband, Scott. She is also survived by eight nieces, five nephews, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her; her father, Wyman T. McG; her Aunt Betty Read; her uncle, Richard Read; her grandparents, Hazel and Jim Earhart, and J.R. Read and his wife, Marjorie; and her beloved dogs, Destiny, Patches, and Lola.

If there’s anything Jennifer left with you, it’s her impact.

Jennifer lived every day devoted to her Christian faith. She always extended her contagious kindness and love to every person she met. Her friends knew her as a strong little lady with a heart bigger than life. Jennifer took great pride in taking care of others, and the only person who referred to her as “Jenny” was her precious Aunt Betty Read.

She was loving, caring, and had a personality unlike any other. She always saw things from a unique perspective, using humor and her quirkiness to uplift the room and brighten any situation. Jennifer captivated others with her creativity and laughter, but most importantly, with her beauty, inside and out. Jennifer will be remembered for her generosity and always participating in and volunteering with the Special Olympics, always demonstrating the importance of treating others the way you want to be treated.

Jennifer loved to sing “You Are My Sunshine” to her family, her animals, and especially her children. But in truth, she was everyone’s sunshine.

She was wonderfully crazy in all the best ways, like a sparkler that never goes out. She was a beaming ray of sunshine that kept everyone warm. There was simply no one else quite like her. Jennifer would lend a hand to anyone, no matter what they needed.

The strength and humility Jennifer showed others are a reminder of the lasting impact she had on so many lives.

Her family was her greatest treasure, and the love she shared with them will remain a part of them forever. It was an honor to have known Jennifer Daniels, but most importantly, to have loved her and to have been loved by her. Jennifer was incredibly proud to be an Army Mom. She carried that title with immense pride and loved supporting and celebrating the service of her son. Being an Army Mom was something she treasured deeply, and she never missed an opportunity to show how proud she was of her son.

Jennifer loved and admired animals all her life, starting when she took care of “sheephead.” She spent her life sharing that love with her family. Jennifer would take care of all the crazy animals Lyndsie brought home. She loved caring for the many animals throughout her life, but she also shared a special bond with her beloved dog, Puppers, and her grand-doggies, Lyla, Honey, Masa, and Stitch, who were her companions and brought her endless joy.

Jennifer found a special kind of peace on the water, where she could cast a line, listen to the soothing waters, anticipate the next catch, and cherish the precious moments spent making memories with the people she loved. Jennifer loved spending time enjoying the beauty of God’s creation.

Jennifer found joy in everything. Every day, she would tell her family about all the lizards and animals she encountered. She loved putting corn out for the squirrels and watching the birds during her morning prayers.

She will also be lovingly remembered by her dear friends, Emily Vaca and Enrique Rodriguez, and by all the people whose lives she touched along the way.

Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we find comfort in knowing that Jennifer’s love, laughter, strength, and unwavering spirit will never truly leave us. She will live on through the memories we cherish, the stories we tell, and the love she gave so freely.

She may be gone from our sight,

but never from our hearts.

Rest peacefully, Jennifer.

You were deeply loved.

You will be forever missed.

And you will never be forgotten.
