Reynaldo Poses Garcia Jr.

It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of our beloved father Reynaldo Poses Garcia Jr. II who left us on December 13, 2024 at the age of 78 after putting up a tough fight to several medical complications and stage 4 lung cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family members in his final moments. He was the best father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He was and always will be our Hero!

He was born in Robstown, Texas on May 12, 1946 to parents Reynaldo Garcia, Sr. and Helen Poses Garcia (Morales). He was raised in Corpus Christi, Texas a place he held dear to his heart.

He graduated from Mary Carroll High School in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1964.  He was in Law enforcement for almost 40 years and had a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Prior to being in Criminal Justice he was an account rep/sales person for many years. He won “Salesmen of the Year” in 1977 and was able to take us to Disneyworld for the first time ever.

He was an honorary 4th degree lifetime member with the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his six children whom he loved dearly Maryann Trevino (Victor Trevino spouse), Reynaldo Garcia, Jr. III (Daniel Flores spouse), Dianne Garcia Martinez, Sammy Garcia, Johnny Garcia, Benjamin Garcia.
Grandchildren he held close to his heart. Alexandria Trevino, Timothy Trevino, Alissa Nicole Martinez, Bianca Garcia, Monica Garcia, Sammy Garcia, Jr., Lorraine Garcia, Elaine Garcia, Janae Garcia, Zoe Garcia and several great grandchildren.
