It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Teresa De Leon, who departed this world on December 12, 2024, at the age of 65. Teresa was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished daughter, dear sister, and loyal friend. Her kindness, warmth, and generosity left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Teresa was born in Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and spent her life nurturing and caring for her loved ones. She is survived by her beloved husband, Joaquin Sr.; her son, Joaquin Jr.; her twin daughters, Valerie and Jennifer; and six grandchildren, Anthony, Jayden, Zoey, Alexzander, Mila, and Ezekiel. Teresa is also survived by her mother, Juana, as well as five sisters and six brothers, all of whom she loved deeply. She is preceded in death by her Father; Andres Torres and Brother Gregorio Torres. A passionate cook, Teresa’s love for food was only surpassed by her love for sharing meals with family and friends. Even on her birthday, she could be found in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals for those she cared about. Teresa was also an avid baseball fan, with a special fondness for the Houston Astros, and enjoyed cheering on her favorite team. Teresa’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Her spirit of love, generosity, and joy will continue to inspire us every day.
