Richard G. Hebert Sr.

Richard G. Hebert Sr. passed on January 28th, 2025, at 88.

Richard was born on June 1st, 1936, to George Hebert and Lillian Grandchamp in

Burlington, VT. He enlisted in the US Navy as a diver and later retired from Flour Global Engineering.

He was generous, kind, and always thoughtful to others. Richard was a loving husband,

father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. He enjoyed dancing, fishing, traveling, playing

poker with his buddies, and organizing get-togethers with his loved ones and community.

He lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with his family and our

beloved dogs, Lola, Pixie, and Honey Bun.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Carmen; his children Richard Jr, Edward,

and Lillian; his grandchildren, Bellary and Jan Christian; late Veteran Sebastian, Mia; his

sons-in-law, Ismael and Mark, and his daughter-in-law, Jeannie. Also, his nieces, Valerie,

Gina, Sharron, and Pam, as well as his nephews, Johnny, Carl, and the late Dena.

Services will be held at Leal Funeral Home, 11123 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079, on

February 5, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. to 10 A.M. Burial services will follow at 11:15 A.M. at

the Veterans Memorial National Cemetery, Houston, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking you to please donate to the Houston Hospice on

behalf of Richard G. Hebert Sr. The family is forever grateful to the organization for their
