1950-2021
Luke Joseph Reindl passed away peacefully on Sunday December 19, 2021 surrounded by his Beloved Wife and Daughters. Luke was born on June 5, 1950 in New York to Lucas and Margaret Reindl.
Luke proudly served his Country in the United States Navy and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War. After moving to Texas, He worked as a Police Officer for the Freeport Police Department for 5 years and Then Began working for the Harris County Sheriff’s Department where he served in the Honor Guard and retired in 2008 as a Detective after 32 years of service. After retirement, He
Worked as a Reserve Sergeant with The Harris County Sheriff’s Office in the Marine Division. He was also an Instructor for many years at the University of Houston Downtown Police Academy. Luke was very strong in his faith and Became a 4th Degree Knight with Council 6950 at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Catholic Church Katy, Texas.
Luke was preceded in death by His parents Lucas and Margaret Reindl.
He is survived by the Love of his Life Wife, Lourdes Yvonne Reindl, Beloved Daughters Stephanie Reindl Jones and Fiancé Blake Meisner and Amy Reindl Petrash and Husband Scott. His Pride and Joys his Grandchildren, Kolbie Reindl, Jacob Jones, Jackson Jones and Dylan Petrash. Sister Laurie Bacon and Husband Steve. Niece Nicole Coleman and Nephew Daniel Bacon. Great Nephew Reid Coleman.
Beloved Cousins Arlene Petzal and Andrew Gergay. Our Dear friend, Rita Regalado who always visited him at home and In the hospital
Always bringing him what he craved or asked for. Last but not least he is survived by his Beloved Dogs Mackenzie Lee and Sasha Marie. As well as Bella his Chatter Box African Grey Parrot.

A Military Graveside Service will be held at
The Houston National Cemetary at a later date.
