Rebecca “Becky” Rodriguez

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Rebecca ‘Becky’
Rodriguez, 64, on December 13, 2024. She was born on November 3, 1960, in
Pasadena, Texas. She spent much of her life in Houston, Texas and her second home
in Tuzantla, Michoacán, Mexico.
Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Houston surrounded by family.
We mourn her loss but feel comfort knowing she is home with the lord and free from
pain. She will be forever missed.
Rebecca was known for helping others, her free spirit and crazy sense of humor. She
loved her family. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, having a good time with friends and
family, and ordering from TEMU. LOL.
But more than that, she was tough and fearless, she had a hard life, but she was a
“chingona through and through”. She fought until her last breath.
She is united with her parents Pedro and Virginia Rodriguez, and Santiago Garcia. Her
daughter Jovita Rodriguez, sister Margie R. Olivarez, granddaughter Angie Guerrero
and many friends and family.
She is survived by her husband Cuauhtemoc Rodriguez, and her children Juan Carlos
Reyes (Brenda), Jose Santibanez Jr. (Patty), Manuel Santibanez (Laura), Maria
Guerrero (Manuel), Christina Aviles (Tony), Emillio Rodriguez (Cathy), and his children
Hector Rodriguez, Neftali Rodriguez (Michelle), Julio Rodriguez. Her sisters Ana Sosa,
Tina Torres, and Martina Garcia. Many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In honor of Becky’s vibrant spirit, a celebration of life will take place on Wednesday
December 18, 2024, at J Leal Funeral Home. Family and friends are welcome to join us.
Visitation will be held from 1pm – 8pm. Food and refreshments will be provided upstairs.
Rosary Service will be held at 4pm followed by Mariachi’s and Fara Fara.
We would like to thank everyone for the love and support.
