Yvonne Rangel

Yvonne Rangel, of Houston, Texas, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2026, after a brief battle with cancer. Born on October 3, 1958, Yvonne is preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary Rangel and Daniel Rangel.

Yvonne was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her four children: son Joseph Rangel and wife Sonja, grandson AJ; daughter Erica Kerr and husband Kaina, grandson Kaia, granddaughter Mia, grandson Kaina Jr., and great-grandson Josiah Vistante, daughter Ashely Janczak and husband Zack, granddaughter Connie Morris, granddaughter Izabella, and son Daniel Sanchez.

Yvonne, a vibrant soul who cherished life, will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, but her memory will forever reside in our hearts.

A viewing will be on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m., followed by a memorial service to begin at 6:00 p.m. at J Leal Funeral Home, 708 College Ave., South Houston, TX 77587.
