Joel Romo

Joel Romo, 67, passed away suddenly on the early morning of January 1, 2024. Joel was an alumni of Jefferson Davis High School in Houston, Texas and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. As one of seven children to Mary Rose Morin, he leaves behind his sisters Mary Jo, Helen, Irene, Ninfa, Andrea and Gloria, and brother. He also leaves behind his wife Farrell, daughter Colette, grandchildren Mia, Abigail and Julien and many nieces and a nephew. To know Joel was to know unconditional love and uncontrollable laughter. He was a loving father, brother, husband, grandfather and uncle and will be remembered for his love of writing, music, politics, family and Jesus and his compassion for others. His celebration of life will be held January 20, 2024 at 12pm at Leal Funeral Home located at 11123 Katy Fwy, Houston, Texas 77079. Please join us as we cherish the life of Joel and remember the impact he had on his friends and family.
