Arnoldo Cristobal Lira

Arnoldo Cristobal Lira

Gone to be with the Lord May 4, 2026

Arnold was born in Monterrey Nuevo León to Arturo Lira Jr and Maria Ernestina Lira on September 21, 1980. He was the 4th born of 7. He leaves behind 6 siblings Arturo, Maria, Julio, Johnny, Francis and Michelle, along with his nieces and nephews who will miss him greatly.

When Arnold was 5 his parents moved the family to Texas, eventually settling in Houston. He was raised on Houston Ave and Bingham St. known historically as First Ward , the heart of the city. Arnold attended Brock Elementary, Hogg Middle School and Reagan High School, where he made life long friendships. He moved on to becoming respected and well loved in his career in business management. Throughout his life Arnold was a person with so much to give.

Arnold loved gathering his family and friends with bbq and good music. He was proud of his hometown teams and had an impressive collection of Astros gear. He was known for his love of cooking and his secret recipes. On his downtime he enjoyed fishing with his brothers and friends.
He was easy to love, he was generous and caring. He was a light and pillar to our family.

Although you will be greatly missed, we pray you have found your way home with Christ, and have comfort in knowing that through his love you are healed, fully restored and at rest in the house of the Lord. The Lira family would like to express their sincere gratitude for prayer, kindness, and support during this loss.
